Loewe Salome: Inspired by Oscar Wilde

This dress unites literature with fashion

What does Oscar Wilde have to do with this extraordinary shirt blouse dress from Loewe? The black-and-white print on the midi long dress is based on an illustration by Aubrey Beardsley of Oscar Wilde's work "Salome", one of the most important dramas of the Anglo-French décadence.

This late summer dress was made of viscose in Italy and has wide trumpet sleeves and a loosely falling skirt. In the back the dress can be tied together with ribbons in the waist. The neckline is lined with a button placket.

We wear the black Balenciaga Knife Pumps and the Loewe Puzzle Bag in delicate pink. For the slightly colder days we recommend combining knee-high boots.
